Phoenix, AZ or Tucson, AZ Area - Remote Role - Full Time

AireBeam, a Fiber and Fixed Wireless Internet Service Provider is seeking an ambitious and energetic Network Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the Network and IT Group.
*Must reside in the State of Arizona – Fully Remote role*
Ability to work remotely but available to travel to company locations in Arizona.
The Network Operations Manager will be responsible for designing, managing, monitoring, and maintaining our Fixed Wireless, Fiber, and Docsis Cable networks as well as any Internal Employee IT Needs.
This position requires a strong understanding of telecommunications and network technology to deliver Internet Service as well as some Server and Desktop management and support.
This position will manage Tiers 3 techs and will be the point of escalation, and subject matter expert.
Solid leadership, attention to detail, and being highly motivated are a must.
Ability to work remotely but available to travel to company locations in Arizona.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responds to escalations from the Customer Service and Field Departments.
  • Assists Employees with any IT needs. Onboarding and Offboarding.
  • Design, Management, Maintaining, and Monitoring our Network and Server Infrastructure.
  • Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards to improve our service offerings.

Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge:

  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Ability to lead and develop others.
  • Positive attitude, towards people and problems.
  • Ability to self-start, work independently and achieve high standards to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Virtualization Infrastructure Maintenance (VMWare).
  • Linux-based OS system administration/maintenance.
  • Cloud platform maintenance.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s (Preferred)
  • IT management: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Network technology: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Telecommunication: 3 years (Preferred)
  • CompTIA Network+ (Preferred)
