Dec 2, 2013: Today, AireBeam is proud to announce that it has upgraded the Fiber Optic circuit that connects its network to the Internet to 10 gbps. The circuit is operational and carrying Pinal County Traffic and backed up by a separate fiber circuit from another carrier.

The new 10 gig “wave” circuit is a solid piece of glass running from AireBeam’s Data Center to the IO Data Center on 48th in Phoenix with no intervening network devices except optical couplers, thus reducing risk of outage to the lowest possible chance.
