AireBeam Completes Fiber Internet Installation at Desertscape Community in Phoenix
Construction Complete with Customer Activations Underway
AireBeam, Arizona’s fastest-growing fiber to the home and fixed wireless Internet service provider, announced today that construction has been completed to bring fiber Internet service to Desertscape, a 55+ manufactured home and RV resort community located in Phoenix. This marks AireBeam’s first fiber infrastructure project in the Phoenix metro area, and customer activations are happening now.
The project brings fiber connectivity to one of the largest communities AireBeam has served to date, with nearly 450 home and RV sites. Many residents are full-time and rely on high-speed Internet for everything from video calls and streaming to telehealth and smart home devices.
“We’re incredibly excited to bring fiber to Desertscape,” said Ben Elkins, CEO of AireBeam. “This is a thriving community with strong engagement. The response has been fantastic—from residents calling us before construction even started to a great turnout at our welcome event. It’s clear people here are ready for fast, reliable service and we’re proud to deliver it.”
To kick off the infrastructure build, AireBeam hosted a coffee and donuts event on June 20, bringing together Desertscape residents with AireBeam’s marketing, construction and executive teams. The event included an Internet service raffle, promotional giveaways and an opportunity for residents to ask questions and learn more about their upcoming fiber options. AireBeam will also be involved in more events for Desertscape residents starting this fall.
Fiber Internet provides significant improvements over legacy services, including symmetrical upload and download speeds, low latency, and the reliability needed to support modern digital lifestyles. AireBeam’s expansion to Desertscape reflects the company’s continued focus on bridging the digital divide in Arizona communities.
Located just off I-17 and Dunlap Avenue in Phoenix, Desertscape is a 55+ resort-style community that offers residents access to a pool, clubhouse, fitness center, pickleball courts and organized activities—all in the heart of Phoenix.
“This is an important step in our growth across Maricopa County,” Elkins added. “Desertscape residents deserve the same fast, fair and future-ready Internet as anyone else in the state, and we’re thrilled to be making that happen.”
