AireBeam’s CEO Ben Elkins to Speak at Cablefax’s American Broadband Congress on June 13

Joins Other Panelists from Altice USA, Charter Communications, Hotwire Communications, and Shentel to Discuss BEAD

AireBeam, a visionary Internet service provider and a subsidiary of Boston Omaha Corporation (NYSE: BOC), announced today that its Chief Executive Officer Ben Elkins will participate on a panel at Cablefax American Broadband Congress, taking place on June 13th in Washington D.C.

This elevated conference is a must-attend event for stakeholders participating in the $42.45 billion Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) program, aimed at expanding high-speed Internet accessibility across the United States. The agenda encompasses case studies of prosperous public-private collaborations, real-time updates from regulators, operators, local/state broadband officers, as well as other vested parties who are developing their own strategic plans for navigating the upcoming broadband milestones.

Elkins will be part of the session, On the Ground, being held from 11:10 to 12:00 p.m. on June 13. The panelists will share their first-hand experiences navigating the BEAD process, including applying for grants, as well as communications with state broadband offices. They’ll share what they’re seeing on the ground level, including differences in approaches across the nation, tips for structuring bids, and avoiding the pitfalls of competing for a share of government funding.

Other panelists include Cristina Chou, Altise USA; Alex Damato, Charter Communications; Christopher Kyle, Shentel; and Ross Lieberman, Hotwire Communications.

“Not since President Eisenhower’s National Interstate and Defense Highways Act have we seen such significant investment in our country’s infrastructure,” Elkins said. “This Congress will help us explore BEAD and what it can offer Internet providers and consumers as we move into a new world of communications. I am happy to be part of the discussion.”
