AireBeam, Arizona’s fastest-growing fiber-to-the-home and fixed wireless Internet provider, today released a new video testimonial featuring Linda Metz, president of the Arizona City Chamber of Commerce, discussing the longstanding relationship between the Chamber and AireBeam and the impact of reliable, high-speed internet on the local community.
The nearly four-minute video, now available on AireBeam’s website, emphasizes how public-private collaboration can accelerate community growth, enhance business engagement and ensure residents have access to the digital infrastructure needed in today’s economy. It also highlights the important role broadband connectivity plays in supporting small businesses, community organizations and economic development in Arizona City.
In the video, Metz shares her perspective as both a 25-year resident of Arizona City and president of the Chamber, explaining how high-speed Internet has become essential to daily operations. She notes that AireBeam was the first major carrier to bring high-speed internet service to Arizona City and that she personally adopted the service as soon as it became available.
“We have a website, we have a Facebook page, and we get a lot of communications regularly,” Metz explains in the video, describing how the Chamber relies on dependable connectivity to engage members and the broader community.
She explained further that as social media and online activities have increased over the years, it is hard to get internet that is fast enough and reliable enough — and AireBeam has served both of those purposes.
The Arizona City Chamber of Commerce, formed in the early 1960s when the community was established, serves as a resource center for local businesses and residents. The Chamber hosts monthly luncheons open to members and the public, features guest speakers relevant to business and community life, and supports local organizations through donations and outreach.
Metz also highlights AireBeam’s active aid towards Chamber initiatives, noting the company’s sponsorship of events and contributions to Chamber functions. “Whenever I’ve called and asked for a door prize, AireBeam is there with a big prize,” she says in the video. “It’s good that we can support them and they in turn support us.”
