Step-by-Step Guide at a Glance
Step 1: Order Placement & Verification
Your order is verified with our team over the phone to confirm service details, address accuracy, and readiness.
- Important: Submitting an order does not automatically schedule installation. Our team will reach out at each step to confirm next actions.
Step 2: State - Required 811 Utility Marking
We submit a state required 811 request to locate and mark underground utilities before construction. This ensures the safest route for your fiber line.
- RV Parks: No one needs to be present. Utility locators access common areas via park management.
- Residential Homes: No appointment or home presence required. Property access is required. Be reachable by phone if gates or pets restrict access. Utility locators may visit to makr or verify lines.
Step 3: DCT (Drop Construction to the Home)
Our construction team installs the fiber line from the street to the exterior of your home.
- Important: Advise the crew where you would like the exterior Fiber Entry Terminal (FET) installed. The FET location determines where Fiber enters your home.
Step 3:Interior Installation & Activation
Our Installer handles:
- Interior Fiber installation
- Serivce activation
- Router installation and setup
- Wi-Fi solution for optimal whole house coverage.
Things to Know During the Installation
To keep your installation on schedule, please keep the following in mind:
Billing: Billing is completed prior to your installation appointment. You will not be billed until your service is ready for installation.
Pre-Orders: You will be contacted once street construction is complete and your address is ready to move forward.
Construction (DCT) Appointments: Someone 18 years or older must be preset for all appointments. Appointment dates and times may shift due to progress, weather, or utility markings.
- 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM, or
- 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
