AireBeam Starts Buildout of Fiber Infrastructure at Voyager RV Resort & Hotel in Tucson
Buildout Will Support 2,200 Units and the Resort’s Hotel, Other Facilities
AireBeam, Arizona’s fastest growing fiber to the home and fixed wireless Internet service provider, announced today the start of building out fiber infrastructure at the Voyager RV Resort & Hotel in Tucson. The buildout is expected to be completed by the end of March, with some residents having access to fiber as early as the end of February. This project promotes the accessibility of high-speed fiber Internet to some 2,200 RV and modular home units and the resort’s hotel and other facilities. This marks another RV-style community that AireBeam has built out fiber Internet infrastructure to, offering the world’s fastest broadband connectivity to residents and others at communities of this nature in Arizona.
Fiber Internet allows high-speed streaming capabilities and support for some of the home’s latest devices for entertainment, security and automation. Oftentimes many modular home communities, such as Voyager, have few Internet options, with limited performance. Now, AireBeam provides an alternative, with new features such as HD streaming and symmetrical speeds at various price points for residents.
“Often, popular residential communities such as Voyager can’t enjoy many choices when it comes to Internet access,” said Ben Elkins, CEO of AireBeam. “We are great believers in fiber Internet and its high-speed performance for streaming entertainment, gaming, telehealth, videoconferencing and more, with many applications requiring greater bandwidth and faster speeds. This is something that wasn’t possible before, and we are happy to give residents and patrons of the hotel an alternative.”
Voyager installation marks the first time AireBeam has moved into the Tucson area market. AireBeam has focused on the Maricopa and Pinal counties markets with great success. This expansion is due to demand for true high-speed Internet that can deliver today’s high-performing applications subscribers want and that fiber Internet can deliver.
Voyager RV Resort is an exclusive 55+ community that received Woodall’s 5W Top Rating in 2012, making it one of the top-rated resorts in the area. The resort offers a warm and welcoming community, inviting guests to indulge in a plethora of activities and explore new places. Guests can enjoy a wide range of resort-style amenities, including sixteen pickleball courts, a golf course, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fitness center, a health clinic, and more. Voyager is the perfect destination to experience the best of the Southwest in Arizona whether as a resident or as a visitor to the hotel and resort.
“We continue to target the expanding Arizona RV community market because we think we offer a high-performing solution for people wanting quality Internet who just can’t get it from other providers,” Elkins said. “We are excited for the residents of Voyager to see what we have to offer and to enjoy streaming and Internet usage without the lag time and buffering they used to encounter. We owe a lot to the incredible management teams at Voyager. They have been spectacular to work with, allowing us to ensure the whole transition runs everything goes smoothly, start to finish.”
